Common Challenges in Play Therapy

Webinar Description

90-minute webinar

It is not easy to work with children therapeutically. The challenges of working with children as professional helpers are many, and some are specific to play therapy. In this webinar we will explore typical challenges in play therapy, and examine how these challenges impact the play therapist's relationship with the child.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the workshop you will be able to:

1) Recognise what makes a child's play in play therapy challenging,

2) Identify a minimum of three ways of dealing with clinical challenges in play therapy,

3) Create a plan for deconstructing play therapy challenges that emerge in your work and/or in that of play therapists you supervise.
