I have learnt to EXTERNALISE the problem - get the negative internal dialogue out and create a noun for it. Love that!! RH
I’ve so enjoyed this webinar & will be signing up for session two. Thanks Kim for sharing your expertise :) KH
Thanks Kim, great introduction to Narrative Therapy and I love the use of metaphors and drawing in therapy for Children. DL
I enjoyed the chance to practice externalising different types of problems. Lots to think about with the clients I'm working with! LVV
I really enjoyed the real-life examples and being able to 'practice' it thinking about it from a child's perspective. RH
It’s been a great session and it’s given me a better understanding of how to have these conversations with my clients. JA
I work with children in foster care who often experience so much disempowerment. I like how these ideas give power back to the child over their own story. LM
Thank you Kim, you have a soft style which brings out the playfulness that I can see in the therapy. SB
Great way of reframing how I will work with my clients! Looking forward to learning more in the next series. SG
Thank you it was a great introduction and the exercises and example really increase confidence in applying it with clients. GM
I enjoyed the case presentation and can think of lots of ways to apply some of the concepts with my clients. MM
I found it useful to open the window to understanding the foundations of narrative therapy. I believe this could be useful for giving context for a clients "problem" and look forward to learning more. SW
Great presentation, very engaging. Looking forward to externalising the problems in a creative way with foster child and carers I work with. I think we could get some creative and meaningful discussion happening. Thank you. AH
I'm a caseworker working with children, young people, and families who have experienced developmental trauma. Narrative therapy will be very helpful in my Life Story Work with clients. RH
I am a Master's student and have not been clear on Narrative Therapy. This was an amazing webinar to clear up much of the confusion. I will be attending both part 2 and 3. AC
Found this very interesting and a great introduction to Narrative therapy. I am registered for the next two webinars and look forward to them. I appreciated the examples - it reinforced the learning :) AW
I loved the interactive, session and I am definitely going to do the 2nd workshop. I loved the soft and clear examples of NT - thank you. MG
Thank you so much for the clarification around key concepts. The term 'double listening' was new to me and I can't wait to keep exploring what that might mean for me in my practice. I really appreciated the opportunity for practical activities. MW
I love all the examples included today to show how a person can externalize the problem, especially those that involve art directives - it immediately creates some distance between the person and the problem! SN
I appreciated that there were lots of practical application examples and opportunities to practice. I also love Kim's enthusiasm. Thank you. CR
Thank you for an engaging webinar, a great introduction to narrative therapy using practical examples, really cemented the learning. Thank you. TH
