I have uncovered a part of me that not even I knew.

I thoroughly enjoyed being a part of this course. Vicki is a wonderful , nurturing facilitator. She created a safe space for sharing and participating - the content left you inspired and challenged. I am very glad I signed up and the weeks went very quickly.

I loved the sessions and would recommend them for everyone regardless of your creative abilities. Thanks so much Vicky for running this and your lovely gentle approach.

The course has opened up many possibilities for me personally and professionally, to express meaning in richer and deeper ways, simply using "a 2B pencil and paper" - life can sometimes be so simple yet so significant.

Course Overview:

Through this course you will generate solutions that are creative, nourishing, and personalised. You will develop skills in observing your responses and supporting others in challenges they face, and find new connections with our earth.

You will participate in dynamic creative processes that involve observation, drawing, conversation and writing – and you do not need any prior experience! Using every day materials, you will discover how much we can yield from a single form when we engage our senses more fully, and how this can be an enabling process for not only ourselves, but the people around us. This is achieved through an exploratory, intuitive approach, which pays attention to locational history and our personal context.

In non-threatening ways, our assumptions and perceived limitations will be contemplated, flexed, and reframed to shift stagnation, ease anxiety, and open new possibilities.

We will consider what it means to focus on wellness with creativity and vitality at a time when diagnosis of disease is prevalent.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Learn simple and effective methods to unleash your creative capacity, and that of others, no matter how much experience you hold.
  • Share an empowering reflective process that is open and non-threatening.
  • Uncover and build on your strengths to connect with others, listen effectively, and notice bias in order to expand potential.
  • Consider the difference between a therapy-based approach which might focus on perceived limitations or problems, and self-awareness and care through a holistic approach focusing on the whole body, creativity, and the earth.
  • Understand how creative processes can enable exploration, understanding, and expression of self while at the same time, energise and heal.
  • Create rich visuals that embody an authentic process. These visuals can serve as triggers for future reflection and collaboration in diverse forms

What ideas are explored:

  • Can the power of creativity be for everyone, in their every day?
  • What does my connection with the environment enable, and how can I build on this?
  • What can humour and joy create?
  • What kinds of questions can I ask, to generate better outcomes for myself and others?
  • How can biases be revealed and transformed?
  • What is my sense of self and tranquillity, and how does this inform my work?
  • How can I build on my trust and collaborations?
  • How can drawing become an accessible and stimulating tool I can use, and support others to do the same?

Who Should Attend?

Course Feedback

Now I can hear and see differently.

I felt something new was happening, was spiralling into this world of endless possibilities, how I could get lost without a care in the world. Not fatigued, anxious, worried, depressed.

Textures, feelings, shapes, sounds and smells came into my life.

We noticed so much detail we had never noticed… It was so amazing…

I am less scared, looking and seeing, challenging and extending myself. I think it is free, expressive, you can give impressions and you can put in lots of detail…

You learn different stuff that makes you believe in yourself. I have been learning!

I have uncovered a part of me that not even I knew.

It was like Vicky connected with every part of their soul, finding a pathway to it through their senses and linking that with their surroundings. It was almost like she allowed them to step into the smallest moment and develop it into a complex idea by acknowledging every component of it.
